Introducing the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Pullover Hoodie, made with durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection in hazardous work environments. This hoodie features a large drawstring hood that fits over a hard hat, rib knit cuffs and waistband to prevent riding up, and a generous cut that allows for unrestricted movement. Constructed from soft FR/AR midweight fleece, it provides warmth and protection with an arc rating of 19 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat 2. The material consists of 10 oz. FR fleece. It complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, and CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The garment should be washed separately from other items, using a machine wash at a maximum temperature of 165°F (74°C) with detergent only, and it is dry cleanable. Proper washing helps maintain fabric performance by removing contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
