Rib knit cuffs and waistband prevent riding up, while the lining provides added comfort and protection. The inherently flame-resistant fabric will not wash or wear out, nor will it melt, drip, or ignite, making it a safe choice with an arc rating of 39 cal/cm² and categorized as Cat 3. The material consists of 14 oz. FR fleece combined with a 6.5 oz. waffle liner. This product is compliant with various safety standards, including CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), ASTM F1506 for arc flash, OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E for arc flash, and NFPA 2112. For product care, it is advised to follow the garment label instructions for laundering, avoiding chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, fabric softeners, and ironing. The garment should be machine washed warm and tumble dried on low, and it's crucial to wash according to these guidelines to maintain fabric performance, especially when soiled with dirt, grease, or oils. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
