This hoodie provides UPF 50+ protection against harmful sun rays and has an arc rating of 8.7 cal/cm², classified as Cat 2. It complies with NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462 standards for arc flash, as well as OSHA 1910.269 regulations. To ensure the longevity of the garment, it is advised to follow specific care instructions including washing separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, fabric softeners, and starch. For optimal fabric performance, any contaminants such as dirt, greases, or oils should be removed according to the provided laundering guidelines, and if contaminants remain after washing, it is recommended to discontinue use.
