The hoodie includes a moisture-wicking design that removes sweat from the skin, an ergonomic cross-over hood that accommodates hard hats for added protection, and a raglan sleeve construction for increased range of motion. Enhanced protection is provided with UPF 50+ shielding against harmful sun rays and workplace hazards, boasting an arc rating of 8.7 cal/cm² and categorized as Cat 2. This garment complies with NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462 for arc flash safety standards in addition to OSHA 1910.269. For care, it is recommended to launder according to the garment label instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and fabric softeners. Machine wash warm (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and dry clean when necessary. To maintain fabric performance, wash separately from other garments and ensure contaminants are removed; discontinue use if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering.
