The Drifire® FR Cat 2 neck gaiter features single layer construction with 4-way stretch for enhanced flexibility and lightweight breathable fabric for increased comfort. This inherently flame resistant neck gaiter ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out. It complies with multiple standards for safety, including NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462 for arc flash, and meets OSHA 1910.269 requirements. Additionally, it is UL certified to NFPA 2112. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, avoiding chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, fabric softeners, ironing, and dry cleaning. The laundering instructions specify a machine wash on warm and a tumble dry on low, and it is crucial to wash the garment regularly to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is advised.
