The garment boasts an arc rating of 8.9 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat level 2, made from 6.5 oz. Westex® DH material. Compliance certifications include adherence to NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 2 standards, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269 regulations. For product care, it is important to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, which include not using bleach or fabric softeners, turning the garment inside out before washing, and machine washing with cold water (maximum 80°F / 27°C) and tumble drying on low (maximum 140°F / 60°C).
