The Drifire® FR fleece lined vest is constructed from 7 oz. Pyrad® fabric by Gore-Tex Labs, offering superior windproof and water resistance to combat the elements while ensuring comfort and performance. This vest features a lightweight, breathable, and fast-drying design, with additional attributes including an inside chest pocket, lined pockets for hand warmth, and resistance to cold cracking in low temperatures. The extended tail provides extra coverage, while the FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim enhances visibility. It has an arc rating of 30 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat 3. Compliance certifications include ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 2, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), OSHA 1910.269, and ASTM F1506 for arc flash. For product care, it is advised to launder according to the garment label, avoiding bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and fabric softeners. Washing separately in warm water (max. 120°F/50°C) with a mild detergent and performing multiple rinses is recommended. Tumble drying on a medium setting is suggested to protect the garment's water-repellent treatment, ensuring the removal of contaminants to maintain fabric performance.
