The Drifire® FR fleece-lined vest is designed with high-performance Pyrad® fabric by GORE-TEX Labs, offering superior windproof and water resistance to endure challenging weather conditions while ensuring comfort. This lightweight, breathable, and fast-drying vest features an inside chest pocket and lined pockets for added warmth, resists cold cracking in low temperatures, and has an extended tail for additional coverage. It includes FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim for visibility, an arc rating of 30 cal/cm², and is classified under Cat level CAT 3. The material consists of 7 oz. Pyrad® fabric paired with a 10 oz. modacrylic blend fleece lining. Compliance standards met include ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 2, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, OSHA 1910.269, and ASTM F1506 for arc flash. For optimal care, the vest should be laundered following specific instructions that highlight the importance of washing separately, avoiding bleach or fabric softeners, and ensuring thorough rinsing to maintain fabric performance. It is recommended to tumble dry on a permanent press setting to preserve the water-repellent treatment.
