The Drifire® FR fleece lined vest is constructed from 7 oz. PyRad® fabric by GORE-TEX Labs, providing superior windproof and water resistance, making it ideal for challenging weather conditions while maintaining the comfort and performance standards of Drifire®. This lightweight, breathable, and fast-drying vest features an inside chest pocket, lined pockets for warmth, and resists cold cracking in low temperatures. An extended tail offers additional coverage, while FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim enhances visibility. The vest has an arc rating of 30 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat Level 3. Compliance standards include ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 2, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, OSHA 1910.269, and ASTM F1506 for arc flash. To care for the garment, it should be laundered according to the instructions on the label, which includes washing separately from other garments using warm water (max. 120°F/50°C) and mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly, and avoiding bleach or fabric softeners. For drying, turn the garment inside out and tumble dry on a medium permanent press setting to protect the water repellent treatment.
