The Bisley® Extreme Cold Collection by PIP® is designed with high-performance materials to deliver advanced thermal protection against severe cold climate hazards. This collection includes jackets, bibs, and coveralls featuring a DuPont™ Sorona® AURA multi-layered insulation system, providing 20.26 oz of insulation, with 10.62 oz of Sorona® AURA insulation, suitable for extreme cold conditions down to -51°F (-46°C). The apparel is made from waterproof polyester ripstop 300D with a PU coating and includes features such as heavy-duty adjustable elastic shoulder straps with buckle closures, double-layered knees for enhanced durability, long side leg vents with zippers and press snap closures, twin chest zip pockets, and two front angled pockets. Additionally, it has reflective double hoop taping on the lower leg and offers 50+ UPF sun protection. While the garments are not compliant when worn alone, they satisfy Class 3 requirements when combined with Class 2 apparel, meeting ANSI Class E standards for retro-reflective equipped pants or shorts. The Bisley® Extreme Cold Collection is designed for extended life, being reusable and launderable, promoting both cost efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
