The Bisley® Extreme Cold Collection by PIP® features high-performance materials designed for advanced thermal protection against harsh cold climate hazards. This collection includes jackets, bibs, and coveralls made from waterproof polyester ripstop 300D with a PU coating, providing durability and warmth. It incorporates 20.26oz of multi-layer insulation, including 10.62oz of DuPont™ Sorona® Aura insulation, ensuring effectiveness in temperatures as low as -51°F (-46°C). While these items are not compliant when worn alone, when combined with Class 2 apparel, they satisfy Class 3 requirements, meeting ANSI Class E standards for retro-reflective pants or shorts that enhance visibility. Additional features include heavy-duty adjustable elastic shoulder straps with buckle closures, double-layered knees for increased durability, long side leg vents with zippers and press snap closures, twin chest zip pockets, and two front angled pockets. Reflective double hoop taping on the lower leg and 50+ UPF sun protection further enhance functionality. The garments are designed for extended use, being reusable and launderable, thus reducing both costs and environmental impact.
