The 18|BX band saw is designed to deliver high performance and reliability, featuring a robust 3HP, 220V, 1 PH, 12 AMP motor paired with a 145" (368 cm) blade for consistent cutting results across various wood materials. Key specifications include a recommended breaker of 20 AMP, a magnetic starter, and blade width capabilities ranging from 1/8" to 1-1/4". The saw boasts a resaw capacity of 16", an 18" throat, and a disc-brake with a micro switch for enhanced safety. Additional specifications include a 220V outlet for lighting, windows for both tension and tracking, a magnetic blade tension guide, a worm gear and pinion upper guide, and ten-point Laguna ceramic guides. It is equipped with a flat poly-groove drive belt, dynamically balanced cast iron wheels, and a urethane single-piece snap-on tire.
