Product Details
With the launch of the Revo 15|24, Laguna provides a powerful and spacious option ideal for users with limited space, bridging the gap between the Revo 12|16 and the Revo 18|36. This lathe features world-class fit and finish, a sliding headstock for ergonomic outboard bowl turning, and infinite electronic variable speed ranging from 50 to 4200 RPM facilitated by a 3-step pulley. It offers extraordinary torque at low speeds, powered by pulse width modulation (PWM) technology. The adjustable-height legs allow for a customized ergonomic working position, while the robust steel bed ensures strength and stability for smooth banjo movement. A notable addition is the patent-pending precise point feature, which enables precise alignment of the tailstock quill with the headstock center. The electrical specifications include a 1.5HP motor operating at 110 volts, 8 amps, and 60Hz, with a permanent magnet DC motor running at 2150 RPM. It is recommended to use a 15 Amp breaker, and the lathe includes a spring-loaded spindle lock. The swing over the bed is 15 inches, while the swing over the banjo is 11-3/32 inches, with a maximum outboard swing of 25 inches when using an optional accessory. The tool-rest post size is 1 inch, and its length is 12 inches. Other specifications include a bed gap of 50 mm, spindle taper of MT#2, and RPM ranges of 650-4200 (high), 325-2100 (mid), and 50-650 (low). The tailstock quill is #2 MT, and the lathe's height ranges from 36-13/32 inches to 51-13/32 inches for the spindle center and between 25-19/32 inches to 43-19/32 inches for the bed. The lathe has a front bearing (TPI Taiwan 6206LLU) and a rear bearing (TPI Taiwan 6205LLU), with a spindle index of 24 and a distance between centers of 24 inches. The lathe’s spindle size is 1 inch x 8TPI RH, occupying a floor space of 60 inches x 22 inches x 22 inches. It is compliant with CSA C/US: 256540, with box dimensions of 52 inches x 22 inches x 22 inches and a weight of 288 lbs (net) and 302 lbs (ship). Warranty information includes a duration of two years on the lathe and one year on the motor.
