The Bisley® Extreme Cold Collection by PIP® features high-performance materials engineered for this purpose, including waterproof polyester ripstop 300D with PU coating. Each item in the collection, such as jackets, bibs, and coveralls, includes 20.26oz of multi-layer insulation, consisting of 10.62oz Sorona® Aura insulation designed to keep workers warm in extreme cold conditions down to -51°F (-46°C). The collection also features a detachable insulated hood, reflective X taped pattern with extra back hem tape and biomotion taping on sleeves, back elastic waist to prevent cold drafts, twin waist patch pockets, twin chest pockets, rib cuffs with thumb opening, sleeve pen pocket, and 50+ UPF sun protection. This apparel is classified as Type/Class R3, intended for workers requiring high visibility and capable of performing full-range body motions. Additionally, PIP® has adopted sustainability practices by using recycled P.E.T. water bottles and polyester yarns to manufacture the garments, promoting both reusability and reduced environmental impact.
