It is bar-tacked at all stress points and has a one-way heavy-duty #5 brass zipper on aramid tape, alongside two curved waist pockets, one coin pocket on the right side, and two rear hip patch pockets. The front waistband is secured with a copper jeans button, and the closure is a zipper, designed to minimize catch hazards as the zipper ends at the bottom of the garment.
