It features an arc rating of ATPV 13.1 cal/cm² and is constructed from 10.5oz FR denim with 2% spandex, which enhances mobility and comfort. The garment includes contrast topstitching with aramid high tenacity FR thread, and all metal components are thermally protected from the skin. Key features comprise bar-tacking at all stress points and a one-way heavy-duty #5 brass zipper on aramid tape, which minimizes catch hazards as zippers end at the bottom of the garment. There are two curved waist pockets, one coin pocket on the right side, and two rear hip patch pockets, along with a copper jeans button at the front waistband. The product is dual-certified to NFPA 70E (ASTM F1506) and NFPA 2112-2023 standards, classified as PPE category 2. It is designed for extended life, being reusable and launderable, which not only reduces costs but also minimizes environmental waste. The NFPA identifies the various FR hazardous risk category levels from PPE 1 to PPE 4, based on the minimum arc rating requirement.
