It features a single chest pocket with a pullover closure, designed for comfort as an undergarment only. The garment is categorized under PPE category 2 with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of 10.6 cal/cm². The NFPA identifies various FR hazardous risk category levels ranging from PPE 1, which is low risk requiring AR clothing with a minimum arc rating of 4, to PPE 4, which is high risk necessitating AR clothing with a minimum arc rating of 40. Each category from 1 to 4 is rated based on its flame resistance measured in cal/cm².
