It features a 6 oz. modacrylic/cotton/aramid blend, combining the comfort of cotton with the durability of modacrylic fabric, which is inherently flame resistant and maintains its properties through wear and laundering. The garment is constructed from ripstop material for added durability and tear resistance, and includes two chest pockets with buttoned flap closures and pencil slots. Radial loops are located on both shoulders, and the garment is bar-tacked at all stress points using aramid high-tenacity FR thread. It is equipped with melamine FR buttons on the front closure, collar, cuffs, and pockets. The product is dual-certified to NFPA 70E (ASTM F1506) and NFPA 2112-2023 standards and has a PPE category rating of 2 with an ATPV of 9 cal/cm2. The extended life of the garment allows it to be reusable and launderable, contributing to cost reduction and minimizing environmental impact by decreasing waste in landfills.
