The cotton material enhances comfort, while the modacrylic fabric offers long-lasting performance and inherent flame resistance that remains effective through wear or laundering. The garment includes ripstop material for added durability and tear resistance, two chest pockets with buttoned flap closures and pencil slots, radial loops on both shoulders, and is bar-tacked at all stress points. It utilizes aramid high-tenacity FR thread and melamine FR buttons for the front closure, collar, cuffs, and pockets. The garment is dual-certified to NFPA 70E (ASTM F1506) and NFPA 2112-2023 standards, falls under PPE category 2, and has an ATPV rating of 9 cal/cm². The extended life of the garment allows for reuse and laundering, which not only reduces costs but also minimizes environmental impact by decreasing landfill waste.
