The kit is ideal for electrical, utilities, petrochemical, oil, gas, mining, and welding applications. It features a 6 oz. modacrylic/cotton/aramid blend, where the cotton material provides comfort, and the durable modacrylic fabric ensures long-lasting performance and inherent flame resistance that remains effective through wear and laundering. The ripstop material offers additional durability and tear resistance. Design elements include two chest pockets with buttoned flap closures and pencil slots, radial loops on both shoulders, and bar-tacked stitching at all stress points. It utilizes aramid high-tenacity FR thread and melamine FR buttons for the front closure, collar, cuffs, and pockets. The garment is dual-certified to NFPA 70E (ASTM F1506) and NFPA 2112-2023 standards, categorized as PPE category 2, with an arc thermal performance value (ATPV) of 9 cal/cm². The extended life of the garment allows for reuse and laundering, which not only reduces costs but also minimizes the environmental impact by decreasing landfill waste.
