The ripstop material adds durability and tear resistance, complemented by two chest pockets with buttoned flap closures and pencil slots for convenience. Radial loops are present on both shoulders, and the garment is bar-tacked at all stress points with aramid high-tenacity FR thread. Melamine FR buttons secure the front closure, collar, cuffs, and pockets. It is dual-certified to NFPA 70E (ASTM F1506) and NFPA 2112-2023 standards, offers extended life with reusable and launderable features, contributing to waste reduction and lower environmental impact. This personal protective equipment (PPE) falls under category 2, with an arc thermal performance value (ATPV) of 9 cal/cm², as classified by the NFPA, which outlines various flame-resistant hazardous risk category levels ranging from PPE 1 to PPE 4.
