The cotton material provides comfort, while the durable modacrylic fabric ensures long-lasting performance and inherent flame resistance that remains effective through wear and laundering. The ripstop material enhances durability and tear resistance. It includes two chest pockets with buttoned flap closures and pencil slots, along with radial loops on both shoulders. The garment is bar-tacked at all stress points and constructed with aramid high-tenacity flame-resistant thread. Melamine flame-resistant buttons are used for the front closure, collar, cuffs, and pockets. The product is dual-certified to NFPA 70E (ASTM F1506) and NFPA 2112-2023 standards, promoting extended life through reusability and launderability, which not only reduces costs but also minimizes environmental impact. It falls under PPE category 2 with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of 9 cal/cm². The NFPA categorizes various flame-resistant hazardous risk levels, ranging from PPE 1 (low risk with a minimum arc rating of 4) to PPE 4 (high risk requiring a minimum arc rating of 40), with each level rated for specific flame resistance in cal/cm².
