This kit is designed for daily wear and compatibility under arc flash suits and coveralls, offering next-to-skin comfort and breathability. It includes personal protective equipment (PPE) category 2 certified to meet standards such as NFPA 2112-2023, ASTM F1506, and NFPA 70E. The garment is constructed from 12 oz FR fleece knit with aramid high tenacity FR thread and features a one-way #5 resin zipper on aramid tape, an adjustable FR drawstring around the hood, and FR rib knit cuffs and waistband. The hood is lined with interlock fabric and includes two slash patch pockets at the waist for storage. The composition of the fabric combines cotton for comfort and fleece for warmth and quick-drying properties. The zipper closure design minimizes catch hazards, as it ends at the bottom of the garment rather than a few inches above the seam. The garment boasts an ATPV rating of 23.3 cal/cm², indicating its level of flame resistance in accordance with the NFPA's classification of FR hazardous risk categories, which range from PPE 1 to PPE 4.
