This ANSI certified Type I, Class C industrial climbing helmet provides superior impact protection for work at heights or in confined spaces. It features an ultra-lightweight ABS vented shell and an integrated EPS inner foam liner designed to absorb the forces of top-of-head, front, side, and rear impacts. The adjustable 4-point HDPE suspension enhances protection against both top and lateral impact hazards. The helmet includes an adjustable 4-point cross-over chin strap with a quick release buckle for a secure fit, and a rugged Sure-Lock adjustable wheel ratchet allows for proper suspension performance and fit for various head sizes. Comfort is prioritized with inner suspension padding positioned above the brow line. This helmet meets the requirements of clause 4.2 of EN12492 and is compatible with the complete line of Traverse™ accessories. The cap style brim promotes user comfort, while the vented shell facilitates air movement, reducing the inside temperature by an average of 4-6°F, making it ideal for use with cooling products. The wheel ratchet adjustment mechanism ensures a firm, comfortable fit and minimizes snagging in longer hair. For end-of-life disposal, the helmet is recyclable via TerraCycle® regulated waste, and users are encouraged to reduce landfill waste by participating in the EasyPak™ recycling program, which offers safe and simple ways to recycle used PPE.
