The kit is ideal for use in controlled environments such as industrial manufacturing, electronics and aerospace, food packaging, cultivation, university labs, and medical and dental facilities. It features Disctek 2.5 fabric composed of 96% polyester and 4% carbon, a military collar for a clean look, and raglan sleeves for enhanced movement. The design includes ESD knit cuffs, snaps at the top of the zipper and bottom of the leg hem, and a coil zipper for easy donning, along with a color-coded hang loop. The garment complies with ESD safe standards according to ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014, ensuring it serves as a groundable static control garment. It must be laundered before use in an ISO cleanroom and meets the standards required for use in ISO 4 (Class 10) and ISO 8 (Class 100,000) cleanrooms and other controlled environments. Additionally, it offers extended life as it is reusable and launderable, helping to reduce costs and minimize waste in landfills, thereby lessening the environmental impact.
