It has one internal lower pocket and should be worn over arc-rated clothing only, not meant to be worn alone or over non-arc resistant apparel. The fabric composition includes mesh, which adds breathability, and modacrylic, which is an inherently flame-resistant material that retains its protective characteristics through wear and laundering. The simple hook and loop closure allows for quick access when needed.
