The FR hook and loop closure meets NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506 standards, and the solid fabric is made from a durable polyester material, designed to be worn over arc-rated clothing only, not meant to be worn alone or over non-arc resistant apparel. This Type/Class R2 apparel is necessary for workers exposed to traffic traveling over 25 mph and who work against complex backgrounds. It offers extended life as it is reusable and launderable, reducing costs and environmental impact by minimizing waste sent to landfills.
