Its powder-coated finish resists chips and scratches, providing a long-lasting appearance. The wood seats, made from 1-3/4 inch solid hardwood (oak or maple), are dished for enhanced comfort during extended sitting. The cushion seats are made from breathable, commercial-grade vinyl or fabric, with a core of 2-1/2 inches of highly-dense, US-made foam for maximum support. This stool comes with a 5-year residential structural frame warranty and a lifetime residential warranty for the 52 ball bearing swivel. It is made in the USA and has been independently load tested to 550 lbs. without failure, meeting BIFMA/ANSI standards.
