The wood seats are crafted from 1-3/4 inch solid hardwood (available in oak or maple) and are dished for enhanced comfort, while the cushion seats are made using breathable, commercial-grade vinyl or fabric with a core of 2-1/2 inches of highly-dense, U.S.-made foam for lasting support. The stool features a concealed swivel in the seat ring for a clean aesthetic and is independently load tested to 550 lbs. without failure, meeting BIFMA/ANSI standards.
