The kit includes two-component ERGO™ insulated handles with a thermoplastic surface on a tough polypropylene base for superior grip, developed according to the scientific ERGO™ process. It is designed for working on live equipment up to 1000 V in compliance with IEC 60900. The cutting capacity ranges from 2.5 mm to 3 mm for copper, 1.8 mm for iron, and 1.4 mm to 1.6 mm for iron alloy. The half-round serrated jaws allow for gripping flat and round material in confined spaces, while the straight jaws feature hardened cutting edges for cutting soft and hard wire. Made from high-performance alloy steel with a phosphate finish for anti-corrosion treatment, the tool meets standards ISO 5745 and IEC 60900. Each tool is tested at 10,000 V for 10 seconds at the end of the manufacturing process.
