The product features a resilient, non-mineral, slip-resistant material with a soft surface suitable for bare feet, making it ideal for locker rooms, recreational/athletic equipment, boats, docks, interior stairwells, entryways, and lobbies. It is available in custom sizes and colors, as well as with custom adhesives. The 3M™ Safety-Walk™ slip-resistant tapes and treads Series 300 have been certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) for providing "high-traction." The product boasts a wet static coefficient of friction (SCOF) of greater than 0.60, which meets the NFSI criteria for "high traction," a standard that indicates floor surfaces maintaining this level of slip resistance when wet can reduce slip-and-fall claims by between 50% and 90%.
