The 2-gallon multi-purpose sharps container is designed with dimensions of 11-5/8"W x 7-3/4"D x 8-5/8"H and comes in a vibrant red color, making it suitable for use in restricted areas such as nurses' stations, medical carts, laboratories, operating rooms, and pharmacies. This container can be either wall-mounted or used freestanding on a tabletop or cart, accommodating a wide variety of sizes of sharps and featuring a puncture-resistant, leakproof, high-impact plastic construction. It has a clear top with a lock-tight lid, easily accessible needle remover, and a wide horizontal opening that accepts various sharp disposables, including syringes up to 60cc. The container's design includes built-in handles for easy transport and meets or exceeds OSHA, NIOSH, CDC, and JCAHO standards. It is capable of being autoclaved or incinerated and requires a bracket/key (model# B794128 & B794000) for wall mounting.
