The kit features an IP54 protective rating providing moisture and dust resistance and utilizes absolute encoding technology with the ability to memorize absolute origin zero. It offers ultra-response measure speed and a large clear view LCD display, with inch, metric, and fractional conversion available at any position. An indicator bar for travel is included, along with single stainless steel beams. The package includes a data cable to connect indicators to a height gauge, a carbide tipped scriber, and a USB data output port. The device has an auto shut-off function after 5 minutes of inactivity and is powered by a 3V CR2032 battery included in the package, with an option for AC power.
