It utilizes absolute encoding technology that memorizes the absolute origin zero and provides inch/metric conversion. The device includes a high contrast LCD display with 330° display rotation, preset and tolerance functions, and a ceramic contact point. Power is supplied by a 3V CR2032 battery, which is included.
