The Duluth Forge ventless zero clearance fireplace insert allows you to build a custom fireplace for your home, either paired with a face mantel or recessed directly into a wall. This insert operates on liquid propane and includes a remote control with On/Off and temperature control functions, five realistic hand-painted ceramic fiber logs, and a dual precision ported ventless gas burner. It radiates 26,000 BTU of heat, sufficient to heat up to 1,350 square feet. The unit is 99.9% efficient, making it economical with no outside duct or chimney needed. Safety features include an oxygen depletion sensor (O.D.S.) with automatic shut-off and a battery-assisted piezo ignition.
