The Duluth Forge ventless zero clearance fireplace insert is designed to allow custom fireplace installation either paired with a face mantel or recessed directly into a wall. It operates on natural gas and produces a maximum heat output of 26,000 BTU, suitable for heating up to 1,350 square feet. This vent-free gas insert includes a dual precision ported vent-free burner and is 99.9% efficient, requiring no outside duct or chimney. It features thermostat control that automatically cycles the unit on and off, remote control functions for on/off and temperature adjustments, and comes with five realistic hand-painted ceramic fiber logs. Safety is ensured with an oxygen depletion sensor (O.D.S.) that provides automatic shut-off, and ignition is battery-assisted piezo ignition.
