EXAIR's® compressed air operated reversible drum vac system attaches quickly to any closed head 55 gallon steel drum and is capable of filling the drum in less than two minutes using a compressed air powered vacuum. With a simple turn of a knob, the same stainless steel drum pump can quickly empty the drum. The system operates without electricity and contains no moving parts, ensuring maintenance-free operation. It includes a two-way pump assembly (1/4 NPT), a shutoff valve, a 10' (3 m) flexible vacuum hose with a 1-1/2" (38 mm) inner diameter and a 90° quick release elbow connection, and one aluminum wand; the drum is not included. An automatic safety shutoff valve is incorporated to prevent spills or overfilling. The reversible drum vac is constructed of stainless steel, features built-in pressure and vacuum relief, is compact and portable, installs quickly, fits standard closed head drums, and is suitable for applications including coolant sumps, food processing, lathes, floor cleanup, EDM machines, pits, screw machines, machining centers, and tanks.
