The DR® Pro XLSP stump grinder is a self-propelled unit constructed of lightweight 12-gauge steel with independent wheel drives for smooth cornering and easy movement over rough terrain. It features a variable speed drive that allows you to match ground speed to your walking pace, facilitating transport between grinding sites. Powered by a DR® OHV engine with 11.7 HP (19.6 ft-lbs. gross torque), it can remove stumps up to 3 feet wide, including tough hardwoods. The grinder is equipped with 3-sided 8 GreenTeeth® tungsten carbide-tipped teeth that last three times longer than competitors, and a protective shroud covers the grinding teeth during transport to prevent damage. This unit is designed for efficient stump removal to expand lawn areas, open fields, and aid in trail creation.
