No matter what size your western blot is, there is a box designed to fit it perfectly, with sizes matched to common blot dimensions, allowing more blots to be placed on shakers or rockers while minimizing reagent and antibody usage. All corners are formed at 90° angles and the bottom surface is uniformly flat, further reducing consumption of costly reagents and antibodies; for example, popular mini-gels require only about 4 ml of reagent. Many boxes are available in a light-blocking opaque black option for light-sensitive samples. The kit and package include hinged lids that minimize evaporation and accommodate halves, wholes, strips, or mini gels.
