Conical centrifuge tubes are made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength, capable of being frozen at temperatures as low as -86°C. The 50ml tubes withstand a maximum centrifugal force of 12,000xg. Caps feature a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling, while Cat. No. C2608 includes a skirted bottom to allow the tube to stand upright without a separate test tube rack. The tubes are shipped in eco-plastic racks, which are recyclable alternatives to standard foam racks and can be broken down into a compact, flat package for easy storage. These tubes are suitable for liquids with a specific gravity of 1.0 when used with appropriate rotors, cushions, and adapters. They are sterile and free from RNase, DNase, pyrogen, and cytotoxins, available racked or bagged, compatible with standard rotors, and include a white printed marking surface for labeling.
