MTC™ Bio Culture tubes have a capacity of 1275mm (5ml) and feature low density polyethylene (LDPE) snap caps that can be attached in two positions. The first position allows air to flow both in and out of the tube, enabling aerobic culturing, while the second position provides a leak-proof and air-tight seal suitable for anaerobic culturing and sample storage. The tubes are made from crystal clear polystyrene (PS), which is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from 0°C to 70°C and can be centrifuged at speeds up to 2000g. All tubes and caps are sterilized to a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10^-6 and are free from RNase, DNase, pyrogens, and cytotoxins. The dual-position snap caps are either attached or available separately.
