MTC™ bio culture tubes have a 17100 mm (14 ml) capacity and feature low density polyethylene (LDPE) snap caps that can be attached in two positions. The first position permits airflow in and out of the tube for aerobic culturing, while the second position provides a leak-proof and airtight seal suitable for anaerobic culturing or sample storage. The tubes are made of plastic polymers with crystal clear polystyrene (PS) construction, which withstands temperatures ranging from 0°C to 70°C and can be centrifuged at up to 2000g. All tubes and caps are sterilized to SAL 10^-6 and are free from RNase, DNase, pyrogen, and cytotoxins. Dual-position snap caps may be attached or ordered separately.
