No matter what size your western blot is, there is a box that fits it perfectly, designed to match common blot sizes to maximize the number of blots on shakers or rockers while minimizing reagent and antibody usage. All corners are formed at 90° angles and the bottom surface is uniformly flat, further reducing the consumption of costly reagents and antibodies; for example, popular mini-gels require only about 4 ml of reagent. Many boxes are available in light-blocking opaque black for light-sensitive samples. The kit includes hinged lids that minimize evaporation and accommodates halves, wholes, strips, or minis, suitable for various gels including half-mini protein gels.
