MTC™ Bio's reversible magnetic separation rack is designed for low throughput bead-based nucleic acid purification, featuring double-sided magnets and an innovative flip-design that allow bead separation in either 8 x 1.5/2.0 ml microtubes or 16 x 0.2 ml PCR tubes while maintaining a compact footprint. The rack contains ultra-strong magnets with a pull strength of 5000g and a field strength exceeding 5000 gauss for rapid separation. Tube wells are angled at a 10° pitch to ensure optimal contact between the tubes and magnets, and microtube wells include an adapter ring for precise control over tube height relative to the magnetic field. The magnets are housed within a removable casing, enabling quick resuspension of beads without the need to remove the tubes from the rack. The rack's dimensions are 3-3/4 inches in length, 1-3/4 inches in width, and 1-3/4 inches in height.
