No matter what size your western blot is, there is a box that fits it perfectly, designed to match common blot sizes, allowing more blots on shakers or rockers while minimizing reagent and antibody usage. All corners are formed at 90° angles and the bottom surface is uniformly flat, which further reduces consumption of costly reagents and antibodies; for example, popular mini-gels require only about 4 ml. Many boxes are also available in light-blocking opaque black for handling light-sensitive samples. The kit includes boxes with hinged lids that minimize evaporation, suitable for halves, wholes, strips, or mini blots.
