The western blot boxes are designed to fit every common blot size perfectly, allowing efficient placement of multiple blots on shakers or rockers while minimizing reagent and antibody usage. Each box features corners formed at precise 90° angles and a uniformly flat bottom surface to further reduce consumption of costly reagents and antibodies, with popular mini-gels requiring only about 4 ml of reagent. Many boxes are available in light-blocking opaque black to protect light-sensitive samples. The boxes include hinged lids that minimize evaporation and are suitable for halves, wholes, strips, or mini gels.
