The Western blot box kit includes boxes correctly matched to common blot sizes, allowing for efficient use on shakers and rockers while minimizing reagent and antibody usage. The boxes feature corners formed at 90° angles and a uniformly flat bottom surface to further reduce the consumption of costly reagents and antibodies; for example, popular mini-gels require only about 4 ml of reagent. Many of these boxes are also available in light-blocking opaque black to accommodate light-sensitive samples. The boxes come with hinged lids that minimize evaporation and are suitable for halves, wholes, strips, or mini blots.
