The OptiWell™ line of deep well plates is compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, suitable for bacterial cultures, centrifugation up to 4000xg maximum RCF, and general sample storage. These plates can be used with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. Manufactured in a class 100,000 cleanroom facility, they are ANSI / SLAS 1-2004 compliant. While all OptiWell™ plates are autoclavable, several models are available presterilized by gamma irradiation in accordance with ISO 13485. The plates are certified RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic, featuring over 30 plate configurations in non-sterile U-bottom design with minimal binding and liquid retention. They have black printed alpha-numerics and are made from virgin, medical-grade polypropylene.
