The OptiWell™ line of deep well plates is compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, available in 24, 48, 96, or 384 well formats to suit virtually every research lab. These plates are suitable for bacterial cultures, centrifugation up to 4000xg max RCF, and general sample storage. They can be used with silicone sealing mats and various types of sealing film. Manufactured in a class 100,000 cleanroom facility, all plates comply with ANSI/SLAS 1-2004 standards. Although all OptiWell™ plates are autoclaveable, several are sterilized by gamma irradiation and are certified non-pyrogenic, RNase/DNase free. Constructed from virgin, medical-grade polypropylene with V (conical) bottoms, the plates feature minimal binding and liquid retention, black printed alpha-numerics for easy identification, and are provided sterile. The product line includes over 30 plate configurations to accommodate diverse research needs.
