The Optiwell™ line of deep well plates is compatible with all popular automated research platforms and robotic equipment, suitable for bacterial cultures, centrifugation up to 4000xg maximum RCF, and general sample storage. These plates can be used with silicone sealing mats and various sealing films. Manufactured in a Class 100,000 cleanroom facility, they comply with ANSI / SLAS 1-2004 standards. While all Optiwell™ plates are autoclavable, several types are also available presterilized by gamma irradiation following ISO 13485 guidelines. Each plate is certified RNase/DNase free and non-pyrogenic. The line includes over 30 plate configurations featuring a U-bottom design with minimal binding and liquid retention, black printed alpha-numerics, and is made from virgin, medical-grade polypropylene.
